Hailing from the mighty Dannevirke in the Hawke's Bay, Lauren Carr is a microbiology student currently living large in Dunedin. When she’s not being a lab rat, she loves getting groovy with some of the sounds from her favourite artists like Janis Joplin, Adele, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Cure. She's previously been a finalist at Rockquest and featured on NZ X-Factor, and despite moving into science still loves to whip out the ‘gat and get people to sing along whenever possible.

Zi Shaw has been performing since she was fourteen. In her hometown of Nelson she did everything from musical theatre to chorale to Rockquest, and released her debut solo EP in 2017. For the past three years she’s been playing around Dunedin both as a soloist and with her band, and over the summer is recording their debut album.
