ADJØ is happy to present "Moshware" an exhibition by Marion Familton and Josh Kennedy.
Moshware is a creative collaboration between a poet and a potter – bringing together the traditional Japanese art forms of haiku and ceramics. Haiku is an art that succinctly and evocatively expresses the moment – both immediate and timeless. Josh’s haiku all provide specific moments of local characterisation. Marion’s simple porcelain vessels are the bearer of the words - both brushed on and inscribed. The show invites the viewer/handler to enjoy both the materiality of the clay, and its enduring nature, in combination with the ephemeral quality of the moments in Dunedin that the haiku describe.
