Nikki Cain - Borborygmi

Borborygmi is a series of cartoonish portraits and abstract pattern paintings, exploring ideas of Beauty and the grotesque in a childlike style. Each character has it's own attitude and personality. The process of the abstract dot paintings inform the works, careful but chaotic, random and related.
