ADJØ is happy to presents 'Troupe' an exhibition by Sally Shephard.
Her works are based around the subject of the circus and its performers. The subject is a vehicle to explore ideas around “ the outsider”, and the relationship between the audience and the performer. The history of the circus and of performance such as acting bring thoughts of masking the real, giving the performer a safe place to expose societal truths .
